In this special bonus episode of Genre Exposure, it’s the return of Dustin’s J-Horror Journal! In an effort to ensure we continue having content every week in October, Dustin has taken to the mic solo to make up for the lost time of his recent illness and do what he does best: unhinged ranting about how cool J-Horror flicks are.
Picking up right where we left off, join us as we check out Masataka Ichimi’s Death Forest 2 from 2015, the next entry in the franchise based on an indie video game that itself was based on another prominent indie video game. This time we trade out the dimly lit forest for an abandoned school as the girls of the drama club find their interpersonal relationship issues pale compared to the unyielding threat of a giant floating ghost head that chomps people in half without mercy. All that and more!
