In this episode, we charge ahead with our current focus on made-for-tv movies. Jason serves up an interesting follow-up by bringing to the table another film based on a work of literature, but takes us to Australia and advances the clock a decade into the era of HBO with Arch Nicholson’s Fortress from 1985. Michael finds himself torn between the film’s wildly varying high and low points. Dustin formulates an interesting, and ultimately pointless, theory regarding Jason’s film picks on the podcast. But before all that, the show almost grinds to a halt under the weight of the Snyderverse. And so much more!
